This short trip to Bangladesh was mainly made to visit potential donors (USAID and the new NATP, WB/IFAD.GOB initiative to provide funding for Ag development in Bangladesh) as suggested by John Dixon and arranged by Anton Adikhari. I also made courtesy visits to BARC. BARI and BRRI and a quick overnight trip to Rajshahi to see the bed planting trials (with both fresh beds and permanent beds) in farmer fields where the beds were made or reshaped by Mr. Wohab/Enam’s new, multi-use/crop 2-wheel tractor mounted bed planter............................for more information pl click the download link given below
