We are looking for a nationally recruited Accountant for RWC/CIMMYT- India Office.

The selected candidate shall have the following job-deliverables. ·        Maintain upto date and accurate accounting system ·        Processing of Bank and Cash Payments, withdrawals and reconciliation ·        Liaise with Banks ·        Handle petty cash ·        Maintain staff monthly pay rolls and other related records ·        Assist in the auditing of accounts and compilation with statutory requirements. ·        Assist in purchase of office equipment and supplies and other materials. ·        Assist in preparation of various reports for the purpose of submission to Donor agencies, Head Quarters, Government Authorities etc. ·        Assist in legal compliance related to foreign exchange regulations, Income Tax Laws or any other statutory laws applicable.   We are looking for a person who has: ·        Good understanding of computer applications in respect to accounting, payroll, payroll and cash management. ·        Good knowledge of handling accounts of Donor funded projects ·        Proven inter-personal communication skills both oral and written ·        Excellent working knowledge of MS Office (Access, Excel, Word). ·        Good knowledge of Tally and other Computer aided accounting systems ·        Proven interpersonal and intercultural communication skills ·        Ability to work comfortably and effectively with or without supervision, either at own initiative or under direction   Academic Qualifications: M.Com/ICWA/  CA

Contract Period: 3 years; can be renewed depending on performance and availability of the funds

Emoluments: Salary is negotiable based on qualification and experience. (Please indicate your current job responsibilities, salary and benefit package and your salary expectations.)

Age: The candidate should not be more than 30 years of age.
